19. Fresh Fish: Up To 2 DAYS

The thing to notice about fish, is that it tends to have a ‘sell-by’ date and not a ‘use-by date’. This means that you can use the fish after the date given on the package.

Much like chicken, it can only be used a couple of days after and still be okay but there is no need to take the ‘sell-by’ date as gospel. It’s mostly recommended to eat it within 36 hours of purchase.
