17. Canned Food: Up To 5 YEARS

God knows what’s in the back of our kitchen cupboards… Some tinned tomatoes, soups, several cans of baked beans and some John West tuna. But did you buy them last week or last year? That is the question.

Well the dates on tinned food is about three years after they’re put out on the shelves but you can actually use them after that as long as you’ve stored them in a cool, dark place – so the back of the cupboard is perfect.
