The TV star and ‘Take Me Out’ host have both been confirmed for the new series of Keith Lemon’s outrageous comedy panel show following the exit of former team captain Fearne Cotton.

Stacey, 29, confirmed the exciting news on ITV’s ‘Loose Women’ on Wednesday (27.02.19), saying:

“I’m really excited because I’m going to be part of the ‘Celebrity Juice’ team this series.

“What Gino used to do – I’ll just be sort of like a regular guest. I just get to go on and have fun, really – which I’m really excited about.”

New boss Keith – the comedy creation of Leigh Francis – appeared on the show to chat to his new colleague, and offered some words of support.

He added:

“You’ve been on ‘Juice’ many times, you know what it’s like! It’s gonna be fun.”

In a statement releasing the same day, Stacey spoke of her joy over the new role after appearing a number of times as a guest.

She said:

“I’m so bloomin’ excited to be joining the ‘Juice’ family. I have loved the show since it began and always enjoyed being a guest so to get to be part of the furniture is a dream come true. So here goes nothing. Wahoo.”

And new co-star Paddy – who is stepping in as a team captain opposite Holly Willoughby following Fearne’s departure – is also glad to become a permanent fixture after a long history on the ITV2 show.

He added:

“I was a guest on the first ever episode and I’ve done every series since so I’ve always felt like part of the ‘Juice’ family. Keith’s one of my best mates, I love Holly and we all have a natural rapport. I’m looking forward to the chaos!”

Other celebrity panellists across the new series include Amanda Holden, Emily Atack, Will Mellor and Johnny Vegas with more guest stars to be announced.

Jonno Richards, Talkback’s Director of Programmes, said:

“We can’t wait to get started with Paddy, Holly and Keith on a brand series of Juice. With this line-up, anything could happen!”

Saskia Schuster, ITV’s Comedy Controller, added: “We welcome Paddy and Stacey to the Celebrity Juice gang. All we can predict is unpredictability as they take their seats for the new series. Bring it on!”
