Oh Ermengarde, with a name like that girl what chance did you ever have?
Probably the most relatable of all the girls at Miss Minchin’s School for Girls, she’s a geeky introvert that inevitably becomes the butt of a lot of the other girls’ jokes – much to Sara’s dismay who sticks up for her at every turn.
When Sara gets moved up to the attic, Ermengarde doesn’t forget how kind she was and tries to sneak up to the attic to visit her.
After being in a few music videos and doing the child-star circuit, Heather DeLoach now runs an events company called Sweet Bee Candy Stations – inspired from her appearance as “Bee Girl” in Blind Melon’s music video for No Rain.
