Well Amelia Minchin is the only proof you will ever need that you can’t choose your family.
The sister of the horrific Miss Minchin, she actually takes a liking to Sara, especially after her father dies, unlike her heartless sister. When Sara in forced to become a maid to pay her way, Amelia takes pity on her and her situation, like the lovely person with some sort of moral compass would do.
Since A Little Princess was filmed, (1995 – what?!) Rusty Schwimmer (great name) has been doing a lot of odd acting jobs, mostly in American soaps just as Days of our Lives, Grey’s Anatomy and ER.
