The Amanda Show might have only lasted three years between 1999 and 2002, but it acted as a stepping stone for many of Nickelodeon’s most popular stars, including Drake Bell and Josh Peck! The comedy sketch show centred around Amanda Bynes (obviously) and was a hugely popular among viewers!

Amanda Bynes went on to star in several films including She’s the Man (2006), Hairspray (2007), Sydney White (2007), and Easy A (2010); but just when it looked like her career was about to really take off, she announced in late 2010 that she would be taking indefinite hiatus after battling against her personal problems.
