The Ice Bucket Challenge
Things began after Markle took part in the infamous Ice Bucket Challenge, which McIlroy nominated her for as part of a fundraising venture for the ALS Association.
After being drenched in icy water – which we’ll admit isn’t exactly the most conventional way of courting a girl – Markle and McIlroy met up in their finest ensembles for a dinner in Dublin.

Even after the duo were spotted sharing a romantic meal, they still maintained their relationship was purely platonic. Yeah, right!
