Is there anything funnier than watching your fave stars gawk, gag and vomit? For those minxs out there who’s dirty minds have inevitably gone into overdrive/off on a highly inappropriate tangent, get yourselves together – we are, of course, talking about I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Heeeeeeeeeere!

Night after night, we tune into the most highly anticipated show of the year; the show can be described as nothing but a winter saviour – simultaneously keeping our November blues at bay whilst inviting the beginning of our premature Christmas countdown.

As much as we all love to laugh at the poor celebs’ expense, the underlying thought that is burning away in the back of our ever inquisitive minds: I could SO do that trial (and nail it, at that).

So yes, you have mentally transported yourself to Aus, you’re sat around the campfire waiting to hear which horrific Bushtucker trial awaits you – the only thing left pondering in your jungle obsessed mind: how much dingo dollar am I being paid for this torture?

Well, unfortunately, as you are NOT a celebrity, we couldn’t possibly put a price tag on your worth – however, fortunately we do have quite a few price tags on the heads’ of the celebs who have entered the jungle this year, and we’ve got to say: they aren’t too shabby…not too shabby at all!

John Barrowman

Best known for his role as Captain Jack Harkness in Torchwood and as a TV presenter – John Barrowman has well and truly made his entrance in to the jungle!

He is hoping to be the first ever King and Queen of the jungle. As he is such a big name (for jungle stars, anyway) it’s been rumoured that he could get a six figure sum – word on the grapevine is that he is being paid up to £200,000! Not bad for a Panto Queen, if we do say so ourselves, darling.

How much is John worth?

One of the fan favourites, John is said to be worth £3.1 million! His millions (literally) are not just from his acting roles, but from his numerous albums and two memoirs – Anything Goes and I Am What I Am. With his husband Scott Gill, the pair have homes in London, Cardiff and Palm Springs. As you do.

Well well well, what do we have here?

After a recent Comic Con, Billie Piper aka Rose Tyler in the Doctor Who universe (the woman on the right if you hadn’t cottoned on already) posted this pic on her insta. I wonder what Scott, John’s husband, thought of this?!

Rita Simons

With her newly dyed pink hair, Rita Simons is another well known name. As the niece of Lord Alan Sugar, Rita could easily get away with asking for a pretty penny! Sources state that she is being paid somewhere between £80,000 and £100,00 – pocket change for Mr Suga Suga.

How much is Rita worth?

The actress, 41, is said to be worth £10 million! Who knew Eastenders paid so much? Sources state that they’re unsure if her wealth comes from her career or her familial wealth. That makes more sense, right? Talking about the jungle she said:

“I like the challenge of trying to survive”.

She said what?!

Any bets she isn’t thinking that over her rice and beans each night! Rita has been accused of ‘abusing’ her daughter Maiya, after she decided to let her daughter have an operation for a cochlear implant so that she could hear in both ears:

“All we want to do is give her back what she has lost and help to expand her life. If you’ve got the opportunity to give your child the gift of sound, why would you not do that?”

Fleur East

The ex-X Factor babe struggled to launch her music career to great heights, meaning that she was then dropped by SYCO! Ouch. Due to this, it is believed that she won’t be getting paid much, as she will be needing the money. £50,000-£70,000 has been estimated – not much, eh? We definitely wouldn’t say no to a 5 figure pay check, that’s fo sho.

How much is Fleur worth?

Despite coming second on The X Factor, Fleur is apparently only worth about £2 million. ‘Only’! Most of this wealth came from her album – Love, Sax and Flashbacks -which was released in December 2015. It went to number fourteen on the charts, which obviously wasn’t good enough for Mr Cowell.

What a pose!

Did you know that Fleur has been on The X Factor in two separate series?!

She first appeared on the second series all the way back in 2002, as part of a girl group: Addictiv Ladies.

Although they were mentored by Simon himself, the group went out in week one, after being knocked out by Chico. Well, guess it was Chico Time!

Harry Redknapp

He shocked us all when he said he’d never seen the show before… and now he’s in the camp! The football manager will have been able to ask for a hefty price for this three week ‘holiday’. Rumour has it that he has got half a million for his appearance!

And so far, we can say he is earning every penny of it – I mean, he revealed he ran his wife over in the first couple of shows, what more could you ask from reality TV?

How much is Harry worth?

Our ‘Arry is said to be worth a casual £14 million.

Not only has he had a long and prestigious football career – both on and off the field – he also owns Pierfront Developments, with the one and only Sandra. Which we’ve probably heard too much about now!

The company aims to build various property in the south.

Fun Fact Time!

Who knew that Harry was the uncle of fellow footballer, Frank Lampard! Harry’s wife Sandra, is the twin sister to Frank’s mother Patricia. Earlier this year, Frank and his wife (TV presenter Christine Lampard) named their daughter after Frank’s late mum.

Sair Khan

Despite being on Coronation Street, Sair isn’t as famous as someone like Rita (battle of the soaps, eh? Eastenders ftw!).

Hence, sources say that she’ll only be getting around £40,000 for being in this year’s line up. I don’t know about you, but I’d still take it! But on a separate, unrelated side note: any one else noticed how downright flawless this gal looks with no make-up? Share your wealth huni.

How much is Sair worth?

The Coronation Street star is apparently worth about £4 million! Who knew you could get so much from being on Corrie? The 30 year old – yes, you read that right, she’s the big 3 0 – is dating fellow actor Simon Lennon, who you may recognise from BBC’s Our Girl.

She’s got brains as well as beauty

It’s been revealed that Sair herself has pitched storyline ideas for Corrie episodes! She proposed the racism storyline, about which she has said:

“This was an issue that I definitely wanted to raise and wanted addressed, because I get a lot of people coming up to me, young Asian girls, Asian guys, that are so happy to see me on the television a representation of them”.

You go girl!

James McVey

James is a guitarist in the band, The Vamps.

It’s believed that he will pull a younger audience into the show, which will work in his favour pay wise. Reports have it that he will be earning at least £40,000, if not more!

Which, for a VEGETARIAN, who has therefore willingly signed up to 3 weeks of rice and beans – we, quite frankly, think this little stud deserves an extra ten grand adding to that measly little pay check (don’t worry, James – we’ve got you).

How much is James worth?

The Vamps lead guitarist and supporting vocalist is supposedly worth around £6.5 million. Not bad for a vegetarian, huh? Jokes aside, he was the first member of the group, and was originally going to be a solo artist, before deciding he wanted to be part of a band.

Is he single?!

Unfortunately not ladies and gents, the band member has actually been in a relationship with model and student Kirstie Brittain for many years *searches for the tissues* However, she is still being inundated with hate comments, after she cheated at the beginning of their relationship! Naughty gal.

Emily Atack

Best known for being on The Inbetweeners, actress Emily is supposed to be one of the least paid stars this year.

Apparently she could be earning a mere £15,000 for going down under.

Is it really worth it Emily hun? On second thoughts, think of all the Christmas lunches you could buy with that neat little sum Emily.

How much is Emily worth?

Not only is she one of the least paid celebs for this series, she’s also worth essentially nothing compared to the others! She is said to be worth roughly £233,280. Maybe Emily needs to get herself on a soap, right Sair and Rita?

Hold onto your hats!

You won’t believe this, but Emily is the first cousin twice removed of Sir Paul McCartney! I know right, WTF? For those of you who don’t know what that means (don’t worry we had to Google it too) basically, The Beatles legend and Emily’s grandma are cousins. It’s a small world!

Nick Knowles

One of the better known celebs of this series, sources believe that DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles will have been offered quite a bit to camp in the mud. Rumour has it that he has been offered £200,000! Not too shabby, not too shabby at all. Wonder what his mate Biffy Clyro thinks of that deal? Maybe, they could reunite and have a lil jam sesh together to celebrate?

How much is Nick worth?

The TV presenter is supposed to be worth £6.2 million, and earned between £230,000 and £239,999 last year alone! And in 2016-2017, he earned somewhere along the lines of £300,000 and £349,999. That means that his one month stint in the jungle will get him what he usually earns in about a year. That’s not bad going.

[dx_custom_adunit mobile_id=’RTK_qQCt’]

Who knew he was also a musician?

Nick’s first album – Every Kind of People – was released in November 2017 and reached number 92 in the charts.

It was a blend of both rock and pop genres and every song was a cover. Including the hits ‘Your Body Is A Wonderland’ and ‘Make You Feel My Love’, who knew the man could sing!

I know what I’m next purchasing off Spotify…

Anne Hegerty

You may know her better as The Governess from The Chase, either way Anne Hegerty has already stolen the our hearts. The latest sources say that she will have been offered somewhere along the lines of £60,000 and £80,000 for facing her fears – fears which stretch far beyond the generic height/rats/snake phobias; Anne is bringing awareness to her Asperger’s, whilst inspiring others with Asperger’s that you can truly tackle anything! Go on gal, the chase for breaking the stigma towards Autism/Asperger’s is truly ON!

How much is Anne worth?

The Chaser is said to be worth over £3 million!  This won’t have just come from her ITV show, but also from her numerous pantomime appearances. As well as being a chaser on the UK version of The Chase, she also stars on the Australian version of the show.

She’s a Northerner!

Although Anne started her career in South Wales, she ended up moving to Manchester. She has been named Brain of Bolton twice: the latest being in November 2013. If you fancy having a go, and being able to state that you are on the same brain level as a chaser, enter the Bolton Premier Quiz. You know you want to!

Malique Thompson-Dwyer

Had anyone heard or even seen him before he was announced on the line up? Malique is best known for being in Hollyoaks, but seeing as this is his first proper “break” it’s believed he will only be getting a measly £15,000 for the entire three weeks. Not being funny ITV bosses, but look at those chiselled cheek bones? SURELY they deserve more than 15 grand.

How much is Malique worth?

Although he may not be getting paid that much for the jungle, one source states that Malique is worth £1.3 million! How many more times do we need to say that soaps are the way to go? Not only does he play someone called Prince, with that amount of money, it looks like he’s living a royal lifestyle too.

Does he look familiar to you?

Back in the day, the twenty year old actor played Tommo in the CBBC show, The Dumping Ground; a spin-off from the show we all loved, The Story of Tracy Beaker. I wonder if he got into as much mischief as the lady herself?

Noel Edmonds

The latest star to enter the jungle, Noel Edmonds has already caused a scandal! It’s been leaked that his £600,000 pay packet meant that another celebrity couldn’t enter the jungle with him! His fee made him the most expensive star to ever be on the show. Cheeky boy! We look forward to discovering why you are worthy of such a hefty sum, Mr Edmonds.

How much is Noel worth?

Well, well, well, after some research we’ve discovered that Noel is worth £75 million! He easily could’ve said no deal to that £600,000. Mate, not to be funny, but I reckon Malique needs that money just a tad more than you?

Fun Fact alert!

Who knew that Mr Deal or No Deal could drive helicopters? He is a licensed pilot – ooer, how fancy! The the best bit about it all is that one of his first helis was registered, G-NOEL. Only the Emperor, huh?

Dec Donnelly

He’s presented the show every year since it started all the way in 2002! Do you feel old yet? That is 16 YEARS AGO – and he hasn’t aged a day, whereas we are plucking the grey hairs out of our ‘tache as we speak.

Despite the dodgy haircuts and the laughing fits, Dec has somehow managed to bag himself a £2.5 million for one month’s work. As you do. But, if anything, this series without Ant has confirmed that this little fella does not need his partner in crime to deliver humour and entertainment to the nation – killing it little guy!

How much is Dec worth?

As you’ve probably already suspected, Dec is worth quite a bit: £62 million to be exact. Yup, you read that right! To be fair, he has been working in showbiz for quite a while, and when you’re as famous as this TV duo, the pennies quickly add up.

He wanted to be what?

Dec was brought up a Roman Catholic, and still continues to practise his religion. It had so much of an impact on him when he was younger, that he had originally planned to become a priest. However, when the boys school student saw the pupils from the girls only school, he soon changed his mind. Go on son!

Holly Willoughby

This Morning presenter, Holly Willoughby has swapped her heels for boots as she steps in Ant McPartlin’s shoes as co-host (and what an impressive collection of biker boots she is parading ALREADY – outfit/hair/body/wife/mum/life goals). Although her salary hasn’t been 100% confirmed, from the way she got ITV bosses to up her This Morning wage to match Phillip Schofield, we doubt they’d make that move again! How much is Dec on again?! Do the Maths guys!

How much is Holly worth?

Although it isn’t as impressive as her new co-star Dec, Holly is supposedly worth £10 million. We’d still take it! This money not only comes from her TV roles, but also collabs with big brands like Marks and Spencers and Coca Cola.

She gave up her dream!

Yep, the blonde bombshell announced earlier this year that she was launching a lifestyle range that she had been perfecting for years. However, a couple of months later she explained how she would be leaving the role. Whaaatt?! She stated it was because it was affecting her work/ home balance. How sad!

Ant McPartlin

Although he isn’t gracing our screens this year *goes and cries in the corner* Ant McPartlin has still presented the show for the last 17 years! And, surprise surprise (or maybe not), he gets paid the exact amount as Dec! Wonder if he spent last year’s wage already? We have a sneaky suspicion that he may have, BUT we still love you Ant and can’t wait for you and your on-the-generous-side sized forehead to return to our screens.

How much is Ant worth?

You won’t be surprised to hear that, yet again, Ant is worth the same as Dec. How cute! It’s rumoured that in 2007 he was offered £40 million by ITV for various presenting roles…any bets Dec got offered the same!

What’s next for Ant?

In a statement, he revealed that he wouldn’t be doing any more TV work until 2019 – hence Holly – so that he can focus on his recovery. With Britain’s Got Talent auditions starting early in the new year, it’s questionable as to whether or not he will be ready to work again that soon!
