Molly Leigh was born in 1685 in Burslem and ever since she arrived in this weird and wonderful world, there were rumours about her “powers”…

Some claimed she could turn milk and beer sour, and some even said that she could eat crusts off bread when she was just hours old.
What’s the truth?
Records show however that Molly, despite almost being tried as a witch, didn’t fit that description at all! She donated money to charity and bought loaves of bread for the poor…

Using her own money, she even set up trust funds for her friends and family! You heard it here first – she’s the Wonderful Witch of the West!
Taking precautions
There’ll always be a few sceptical ones though and as a result, her grave was turned around so it faced the opposite direction to everyone elses. Only one way to find out if it actually laid her menacing soul to rest…
