11. Lack of consent in ‘Shrek’
This one is problematic in so many ways but, as kids, we just didn’t think much of it.
When Dragon has Donkey in her grasp, she’s very touchy-feely with him. Donkey refuses her advances on more than one occasion and literally says “I do not consent”, but she pressures him anyway.
12. Special effects in ‘The Lion King’
The clouds in the sky not-so-subtly spell out ‘sex’ at first glance, but apparently it’s a nod to the SFX team. Knowing Disney, it’s probably the former…
