The 23-year-old reality star has admitted that after his stint on the ITV2 programme he “questioned himself”, and although his stint on Channel 4’s ‘Celebs Go Dating’ helped build up his self-esteem, he won’t be doing it again.

He told The Sun Online:

“Even though up until ‘Love Island’ I had a pretty good track record, I came out just feeling a little bit deflated and ‘Celebs Go Dating’ helped me rebuild that a little bit.

“I did take someone to the finale; it’s still very early days.

He added:

“I’m not going to be dating on TV again, that’s for sure.”

He added that the show let him find a “different perspective” on his own dating habits.

He added:

“‘Celebs Go Dating’ has been a journey and a half but it allowed me to rebuild some of that confidence that I lost on’ Love Island’.

“It gave me a chance to see myself and how I date from a different perspective and just immerse myself in a more natural dating environment.”

During the show Eyal was paired both with Meghan Barton-Hanson and Hayley Hughes – however, both relationships ended badly.

He explained:

“It wasn’t Megan specifically but I don’t think I had a very easy time in there, I don’t believe that there was anybody in there that I would’ve connected with, but it then made me question myself and what I’m about and think, ‘Oh, have I been getting it wrong for the whole of my life?’ “
