The 00s were some of the best times of our lives, with some of the things around back then defining our childhood. Times might have moved on but there are certainly some things from the 00s which you just can’t replace. Take a look at this list of 15 things which we all miss from the 00s.

1. Gameboy Advance.

The Gameboy advance was everybody’s favourite gadget. We loved it so much we could even describe it as a hobby.

2. Disney Channels ‘Recess’.

This was THE best kids show on T.V. Who wasn’t jealous of the all the fun things these kids had access to our their playground? And there’s no denying that every kid wanted to be T.J

3. Steps.

Steps were one of the best bands in the 00s. Tragedy and 5,6,7,8, define our childhood birthday parties.

4. CITV.

Every kid loved rushing home from school to catch the antics of CITV. If it wasn’t ‘Jungle Run’ it was ‘50/50’ which had us all glued to our T.V. screens.

5. Stars In Their Eyes.

This was everyone’s Saturday night entertainment. ‘Stars In Their Eyes’ left us all mesmerised as ordinary people transformed into their singing idols.

6. The Walkman.

Forget the iPod Nano, way back in the early 00s the Walkman was the only way we could listen to portable music. And us kids never dreamt of complaining about having to cart our C.Ds around with us.

7. The Flip Phone.

Whether is was the Motorola X or the original Samsung, the flip phone introduced a whole new level of cool.

8. K Swiss Trainers.

Back in the day every kid owned a pair of these. It was such a shame when they went out of fashion.

9. That’s So Raven.

Everybody loved Disney Channels Raven Baxter. Whether it was her ditzy friends Eddy and Chelsea or her never ending bickering with brother, Corey, Raven’s visions of the future kept us all amused.

10. MSN.

MSN was the only way we could communicate with our friends when our phones ran out of credit. Who doesn’t miss that nudge button? It was the only effective way to get anybody’s attention.

11. Blind Date.

Now this was a 00s classic. Blind date with Cilla Black was a Saturday night favourite. There wasn’t a household in the country that wasn’t screaming at their T.V. screens in hope the contestants would pick the best date.

12. Crazy bones.

These were the best form of break time entertainment for the older kids in primary school. There was no better feeling that opening your brand new collection to discover you had one of the highest scoring Crazies in there!

13. The Gap jumper.

Any kid who owned one of these back in the day was a style icon. Not only did they make you look cool, there’s no denying they were comfy too.

14. Blue.

This was every girl’s favourite boy band. There wasn’t a female in the 00s who wasn’t in love with Duncan. And their song ‘One Love’ will never get old!

15. Nokia’s Snake.

Snake was a game in a league of its own. Forget Candy Crush, getting past level 5 was on everyone’s list of greatest achievements.
