Avon was an extremely popular brand back in the 70s & 80s. A lot of people used to sell the products and one of the best sellers were the pomanders. I think everyone will remember the ballet shoe pomanders….but what about the rest? Here are 11 of our favourite ones from back in the day. Enjoy 🙂

1. Ballet shoes.

Out of all the Avon Pomanders, I think these ones were the most popular….

2. Gloves.

You could hang them up on your cupboard handles….

3. Umbrella.

Or on your door knobs….

4. Purse.

These’s ones were very popular too, you could fill them up with different scents….

5. Rocking Horse.

Lavenders, Rose or Jasmine, whichever scents you preferred…

6. The Fan.

The fan pomander was most popular during the late 70s….

7. Rabbits.

You can find a lot of these at car boot sales for about £1…

8. Rose.

Especially the Rose ones, you could keep these in your drawers to keep your clothes smelling nice and fresh….

9. Frilly boot.

Or hang the frilly boot pomander in your bathroom on a little hook…

10. The Dove.

The Dove came in a few different colours, Pink, Blue and Purple….

11. The Hat.

Which of these 11 pomanders did you have?
