For as long as human behaviours have been recorded, the concept of infidelity has been a common occurrence. Years ago, rules regarding monogamy were apparently much stricter than they are now, with most belief systems insisting that being faithful makes for a strong and long-lasting marriage.

But with historic role models like Henry VIII (and his six poor wives) and modern day role models like the Geordie Shore crew, is it any wonder that men (and women!) through the years have had a tendency to dip their hands in the cookie jar?!
