Adulting is hard. Very hard. There are a lot of activities and tasks which are an initiation into adulthood that a person might not even realise. Someone might have been groaning about their bad back for a while, and then suddenly realise they’re not as young as they once were.. Or maybe a person suddenly notices that their bedtime has become a lot earlier than it used to be (and that they’re actually okay with that). Maybe they’ve swapped a glass of wine for a glass of water while suddenly realising that their fluffy slippers are a lot comfier than those stiletto clubbing heels.

Getting older isn’t a bad thing, of course. It’s all about embracing the changes and taking control of whatever a person wants to do, whether that’s getting an early night or watering their plants (whilst wearing their fluffy slippers).
