Not only is she the wife of a famous Hollywood actor. She is also a mother of two. AND, aside from family life her career life is very successful as well. Jacqui Swedberg is a producer and assistant director. Let’s look a little deeper.
Jacqui Swedberg’s Career
The 36-year-old was the producer of the television series called Corner Gas for two years back in 2007 to 2009. Also, she was an assistant director in Prairie Giant: The Tommy Douglas Story in 2006. As well as this Jacqui Swedberg also assisted directorship in the movie Sleepwalking in 2009 and Lullaby for Pi in 2010.

The director’s husband has had an impressive 26 years in Hollywood during his career. He is known widely.

For many he’s recognised as the rancher in the movie Yellowstone. He became known even more widely for this role. But many also know him for playing the typical moody teenager in American Beauty. Or, for his role in The Hunger Games as Seneca Crane.
The actor has enjoyed, and is still enjoying a very successful career. It is estimated that Jacqui Swedberg’s husband is worth around $3million.
His Past Drug Addiction
Despite all of his success and fame, it has not been an easy ride for the husband of Jacqui Swedburg. It may be surprising for many to discover that he struggled with a heroin addiction for three years.
His best friend Heath Ledger, died tragically after accidentally overdosing on prescription drugs.
Of course, during this time his career was on hold. Plus, he was losing work opportunities that he once could have had. But, thankfully Jacqui Swedberg’s husband battled his addiction to drugs and managed to recover.
The actor has never hidden his struggles from the public and has always been very open.
He spoke with The Guardian:
“I’m not shy because I’m not ashamed,”
Jacqui Swedberg’s husband continued,
“Shame is partly what kept me in that space. Once I could shake that off and not be ashamed of it, it’s allowed me to be free of it in a way… Now it’s easier to talk about when in reference to the work I’m doing, which is the one good thing that came out of it.”
I can use it… I can apply it to my work.”

Why It Happened
Wes found himself in Hollywood at a young age. And there, he was introduced to the night-time scene which he had never before experienced. He felt he had been thrown into a totally new world, unprepared and experiencing a lot of things he had never been introduced to before. At the time he did not know how to handle it.
Things started to spiral with drugs, which developed into heavy drugs – heroin. So, he ended up in rehab twice, after he realised without it, he would die. The first time he went in he had ended up spiralling off track again. But, with a new mindset and realising things would end very badly, he managed to stop.
“At 20, I was too young and too unprepared for stardom. I took myself too seriously. You have to have a sense of humour about fame at that point.”
The End of His Marriage
Wes Bentley had been previously married before he married Jacqui Swedberg. He was married to Jennifer Quanz for 8 years. But the couple divorced. Of course, the breakdown between the couple was fuelled massively by Jacqui Swedburg husband’s addiction to drugs.

Meeting Jacqui Swedburg
Thankfully, after recovering from his addiction Wes Bentley met his second wife Jacqui Swedburg. But, this came after being apart from his ex-wife for three years. Then, they got married in 2010. Thankfully after a tumultous time Wes got the life he wanted as well as his wife Jacqui Swedberg.
Now, together they have two children. Their son is named Charles, and their daughter is named Brooklyn. They are a avery close family. Neither of the couple have social media they prefer to keep their family life private and shield their children from the limelight. And, to keep their precious family time peaceful.

2014 was his big comeback to the industry. Jacqui Swedberg’s famous husband starred in the hit movie Interstellar. And, since then things have gone up and up for this popular actor.
He credits Interstellar for reviving his career again. But, of course not only this. Mainly he thanks his wife for standing by him and for his two children.
He spoke to MTV News:
“I’ve found that [fatherhood] has really made me a better actor, and a better artist,”
“It’s given me more tools and more life.”
