His career
The star was a judge on the Sky1 talent show Got to Dance and co-presenter of the Saturday night BBC game show Can’t Touch This.

Ashley has also been a judge on the ITV show Britain’s Got Talent since September 2020. His brother Jordan has also had a very successful career since BGT now presents the show The Greatest Dancer which he switched for Dancing on Ice.
The Dancing On Ice judge first rose to fame on the show Britain’s Got Talent back in 2009 when his dance group Diversity, which included his brother Jordan, took part on the show.
Most of us are very familiar with Ashley and his famous brother Jordan. Bit, when it comes to the rest of the family things are very much private.
His little sister
So while we all know Ashley has a brother with who he is very close to, his sister remains a mystery.
Stalking her social media, it is apparent that she is in a long term relationship with her boyfriend Charlie, and the pair recently moved into their first home together. Despite this, she doesn’t share much of her private life online.
She has a very close bond with her two brothers and her parents. The family unit is very close and regularly spend time together despite the family’s busy schedules.
On her social media, the beauty shares how proud she is of her brothers and often praises them for being wonderful people.

Ashley Banjo’s parents both had sporting careers themselves. Dad Funso worked as a professional boxer and their mother was a ballet dancer. She helps manage her sons’ group Diversity, as well as run a dance studio.
Who is Ashley’s Wife?
The couple met when they were just 16 years old. In 2015 they tied the knot after just 6 months of engagement. They have now been together for 8 years and Ashley regularly shares snaps of him and his wife on social media. The pair look as loved up as ever and he often comments on how lucky he is. This is reciprocated by Francesa who also gushes about her husband over social media.

Francesca Abbot is no stranger to the world of showbiz. She is a fellow dancer and dances for a group that Ashley does the choreography for. Her group, called Out of the Shadows, have performed at a wide variety of events, as well as representing companies including River Island, Adidas and Pineapple. She is also a talent manager, where she deals with a variety of different performers.
Ashley Banjo and becoming parents
The Diversity star now has a family of four, including his wife and two children. In February 2019 the couple became parents. The dancer’s wife gave birth to a baby daughter who they names Rose.

Ashley shared the news on social media, gloating about his new baby daughter and telling fans how proud he was of his wife. Francesca and Ashley Banjo as parents could not be more fulfilled.
Ashley told fans:
“Our beautiful daughter came into the world at 6.45 pm on 21st February 2019 – weighing a healthy 8lbs and 13oz. Her name is Rose Adura Banjo. I am in the deepest love ever with my little family.”
Then, in March 2020, they welcomed a new baby boy into the world. They named their first son Micah.
Diversity
The dance group are still as strong as ever. Their recent performance on Britains Got Talent received a torrent of abuse and racist comments. The performance received 30,000 complaints as fans called in to call out this disgusting behaviour.
At the Bafta TV Awards 2021, Diversity’s dance won Virgin Media’s must-see moment, which is a category voted for by the public.
During the speech, the head dancer talked about Black Lives Matter and the experience of racism and how much people’s support meant.
