Carey Corden & Her Siblings – How Did Her Parents Meet?
Carey Corden is the middle child of James Corden and his wife Julia Carey, but how did the pair meet and how many children do they have?

James and Julia were introduced by their mutual friend, actor Dominic Cooper. James and Dominic used to be room mates and also co-starred in The History Boys.
However, James recently admitted that he almost didn’t go to the 2009 Save the Children charity event where James and Julia met:
‘I said, “I’m really enjoying this sort of thing—like, cooking dinner, falling asleep, not really drinking,” and he said, “Come on, let’s go, it’ll be fun.” Thank God he persuaded me’.
When he first met Julia, he admits it was love at first sight. He revealed that the first thing he said to her was:
‘Hi, Jules. You might be the most beautiful woman in the world’.
Their conversation continued:
‘She said, “Well, thank you very much. That sounds like something you say a lot.” And I [James] said,”I’ve never said it before in my life.” That was it. That was it, really. I was in. And by an absolute miracle, so was she’.
Who is Julia?
Julia started out her career in the entertainment industry as an actress. The blonde beauty starred in many programmes in the 1970s, including Enemy At The Door and Wings.
Now, she is a TV producer in Los Angeles where she resides with James and their children.
Unlike her significant other, Julia prefers to stay off social media but that doesn’t stop James from singing her praises any chance he gets. For example, he won the 2012 Tony award for Best Actor in a Play for his performance in ‘One Man, Two Guvnors’.
In his acceptance speech, he said:
‘Seriously, I would not be holding this if it wasn’t for her. She made me say ‘us’ instead of ‘I’ and ‘we’ instead of ‘me’ and I love her. Thank you very much’.

When were Carey Corden and her siblings born?
James and Julia have three children together, Max and daughters Carey and Charlotte.
Max was born on 22nd March 2011 and has Dominic Cooper as a godfather. Carey was born on 7th October 2014 and Charlotte was born on 12th December 2017.
However, Charlotte’s arrival wasn’t exactly smooth sailing. Former One Direction star, Harry Styles was given just two and a half hours notice to cover the show when Julia went into labour!
Today we welcomed a beautiful baby daughter into the world. Both she and her mother are doing great. We can’t stop smiling. Thank you Harry for stepping in to host the show at 2 and a half hours notice! x x x

Do James and Julia make any public outings?
Yes. The married couple were seen at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on May 19th, 2018.
