Kim Kardashian Kids: Does She Have A Favourite?
Kim Kardashian kids are amongst the most famous in the world, if not- the most. Kim’s pregnancies were followed with scrutiny (do we all remember when her swollen, perspex heeled feet made breaking news?) and now how she raises them is subject of great discussion.

Her sisters Kylie Jenner, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian and her brother Rob Kardashian are also under constant scrutiny on how they bring up their kids. Kris Jenner’s grandchild count is going up and up by the year- we wonder when Kendall will join the Kardashian Mum Club?!

North West
Kim Kardashian West’s first child, North ‘Nori’ West was actually conceived when Kim was actually still married to Kris Humphries. The pair, although not obviously together, were still officially an item by law when Kim fell pregnant with her and Kanye’s first child.
Kimye’s relationship dates all the way back to 2004, when Kanye first set his sights on his future wife, on the set of a Brandy music video shoot. At the time, Kim was actually in her first marriage, to music producer Damon Thomas, who she married in 2000.

Over the years, Kim made her way multiple marriages while Kanye was always somewhere in the background, often being pictured together.
Finally, when Kim’s second marriage, to NBA star Kris Humphries, came to an end (after a record 72 days), Kanye swooped in before anyone else could swipe her again.
It was in 2012 that ‘Kimye’ finally came to fruition, with the rapper making his first appearance on her reality show, Keeping Up. That’s when you know it’s serious.
Just months later, in December of that year, ‘Yeezy’ announced at a concert in New Jersey that he and Kim were expecting their first child; there was no messing around once he finally snapped her up!

The North/ South Divide
Just a year after confirming their relationship, the pair welcomed their first daughter, North West. A name which made headlines EVERYWHERE. You couldn’t go anywhere without ending up in a conversation about the couple’s interesting choice of naming their daughter with a compass point. We’ve got to say, we’ve grown to love it- especially her nickname of ‘Nori’.
When she was first born, there’s no questioning that she was the spits of her Dad, but as she’s grown in to a mini- Kim. Throwbacks of Kim sometimes provoke a double take, as their similarities are so striking.

She might have inherited her Mum’s signature looks, but her personality resembles that of her Dad, with Kim revealing to Ellen:
“She’s really, really smart. She knows how to outsmart us. Or she thinks she does. But she is Kanye’s twin. Same personality, says the same wild things.”
A lot went on in 2012, with Kanye popping the question in a rented out stadium in San Francisco, accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and a personalised message that read, ‘PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!!’
Could you really say no?
Saint West
The year after, when North was just one, Kim and Kanye wasted no time walking down the aisle, wedding in Florence, Italy. Of course, the wedding wasn’t just a wedding, and more of a week-long event- I mean, it’s not like they don’t have the money.
Starting with a trip to Paris, where the bride-to-be held her bachelorette to celebrate with her friends and sisters, at Hôtel Costes.

The following day entailed a pre-wedding lunch hosted by none other than Valentino Garavani and his house, Château just outside of Paris.
The couples’ rehearsal dinner took place that night, for their 600 guests, who were treated to a fireworks display and special live performance by Lana Del Ray.
The following day, May 24th, was the big day in which Kardashian- West walked down the aisle in a custom Givenchy dress, accompanied by Bruce Jenner, now Caitlyn Jenner.

Birthed A Saint
Once the wedding was done and dusted, and operation wedding-bod was no more, the daughter of Momager Kris Jenner showed no signs of slowing down on the baby front, as Kim gave birth to her second baby, Saint West, on December 5th, 2015.
Yet another very questionable name, but what else would we expect from two of the biggest names in the business. We weren’t expecting a John, were we?
Son Saint, or ‘Sainty’ as the clan tend to refer to him, has grown in to quite the little character, with a constant beam on his face. Having recently turned 4, his Mum celebrated with a personal message for him (and her 158m followers).

“I have no words to describe how much I love your smile and those curls of yours Saint! You bring so much joy into my soul,” she wrote. “You are so kind, loving and just so thoughtful and sweet! I am so happy today is your 4th birthday and we get to celebrate how much you’ve grown!”
Kim Kardashian Kids By Surrogate: Chicago West
Following two traumatic and painful labours, the social media Queen was diagnosed with placenta accreta and forced to use surrogates to extend her brood. Revealing graphic details of birthing North:
“My doctor had to stick his entire arm in me and detach the placenta with his hand, scraping it away from my uterus with his fingernails,” she wrote. “How disgusting and painful.”

Kim and husband Kanye West didn’t make the decision to draft in a surrogate to welcome their next babies with ease:
“I hated being pregnant, but as much as I hated it, I still wished I could have done it on my own. The control is hard at the beginning.”
Despite her doubts, it turned out surrogacy was a positive experience for her the couple, enabling them to welcome their next two babies, Chicago West and most recently, Psalm West safely and happily.
Chicago ‘Chi’ West was welcomed in January 2018, and took the name of her Dad’s hometown.

The KKW beauty mogul revealed that her daughter’s name exceeding her preferred one syllable didn’t sit right at first:
“It kind of messes with me, I’m not going to lie. I really like the one syllable thing.”
Kim Kardashian Kids By Surrogate: Psalm West
The latest member of the West family arrived in May of 2019, also via surrogate.
Son Psalm West’s name, perhaps the most opinion dividing of the lot, was actually Kim’s sister Kylie Jenner’s doing. Kim recalls being stuck for inspiration when her sister came to the rescue. This wasn’t before they were toying with the idea of naming their son after a prophet from the bible:
“His name was gonna be Ye.”

But after deciding that the name didn’t actually mean anything, they searched the bible for names beginning with ‘Ye’.
“So we looked up every name in the Bible that had ‘Ye’ at the beginning, and like, the only name was Yehezkel.”

But, it was actually her self-made billionaire sister who got the last word:
“Kylie called at the last second and was like, ‘No! Psalm and Saint sound good together’. Kim said on the show. And the kids call him now ‘Psalmye.’
Will She Have Any More?
After welcoming Saint, Kim revealed that she might be finally done on the kid front:
“I feel so complete. I really do feel like four [kids] is the perfect number for me. I feel so full in the best way, but I’m done.”
We think she’s got the perfect brood- two boys and two girls- to complete the perfect family! Well, it might not be perfect, but what we do know is that Kim Kardashian kids won’t want for anything with Kimye as their parents!
