There were a few things that we will all remember from being kids! This is because growing up in the noughties meant we had the best childhood!

This was before kids stopped going out and playing with each other every school night.

Here are 13 things you will remember if you were a child who grew up in the amazing era.

    1. These sherbet sticks!

These were the best things ever. They cost about 5p each which meant that you could get loads!

They were a pain though when your spit got stuck in the top and clogged all the sherbet up.

    2. This toy from cereals

Who remembers getting these in your cereal boxes?! This was definitely the best present by far.

I used to be so annoyed at my brother when he woke up first and got the actual present for himself.

    3. Bang snaps

These were the highlight of our childhoods. Getting loads of these and throwing them on the floor.

They used to come in little packets full of sawdust. I wish that these were still acceptable to throw around!

    4. The Eye Toy

This was one of the best inventions EVER. I absolutely loved the Eye toy and playing with it.

Me and my brother used to spend hours playing with ours when we were younger. I think mine is still up in the attic!

    5. Magazines like this

Girl Talk was my all time favourite magazine from when I was younger, what about you?

I used to love the free toys and things that you got …then I loved doing all the personality quizzes!

    6. McDonalds toys

The best times were when McDonalds actually gave you good toys in your happy meals!

Either this, or remember getting the glass coke bottles? I swear I used to buy McDonalds JUST for these things.

    7. These Pringle holders

The best thing to open up in your lunch box was this. When you got to bring your favourite crisps into school!

I used to collect all of the Scooby Doo ones. Who else remembers having these?!

    8. Kerching!

This was one of the best shows that graced our televisions when we were younger!

Who remembers watching it? I absolutely loved the theme tune that came with it. I loved watching this after school!

    9. Badge It!

This was the best Christmas present that you could have got when you were younger!

The ability to make your own badges was the best thing ever. I never used to let my friends use the images that I loved the most.

    10. These ice lollies

The Fab ice lollies were without a shadow of a doubt the best ones ever created… with Twisters coming in at a close second.

Who remembers getting these from the Ice Cream van? The best part was when you mum bought them on the weekly shop.

    11. Combat pants

Never ever a good look. But that didn’t stop every single person in the noughties owning several pairs of these.

I remember I used to be so jealous of my sister because she had about 5 different coloured pairs.

    12. Rollercoaster Tycoon

THE best game EVER. This is was one of those games, like Sims, that you would spend hours on.

I still have my copy of this! Who else has theirs? There was no getting rid of this because it was the best game ever. Especially when your internet wasn’t on.

    13. 10p Freddos

The good old days. Remember when things were actually fairly priced? Hmm… me too.

This wasn’t even that long ago, but now in some places they have TRIPLED in price! Bonkers.
