“We went to summer camp together when we were 12. But it was when we were in high school together, and we were at cosmic bowling—which is what you did before cell phones.
She was wearing these little white shorts, and, you know, in the black light, they pop.
So, I was like, “She seems cool from here.” And then I stalked her for a few months, and it turned out that she’s a totally respectable, super smart human with a giant brain and not just a pair of white shorts.”
The pair met again as adults in 2009 when they were both attending the birthday party of a mutual friend. It has been called by many as a love at first sight moment because the pair had an instant attraction to one another. After hitting it off the budding couple continued to see each other and spend time together.

After just a year, Hollywood star Holmes popped the question in front of both of their parents. After a year of engagement, the pair got married in a ceremony in Illinois, September 2011.
The big day took place at Bluestem Farm, where they invited most of their friends and close relatives to share the ceremony with them.

After 2 years of marriage, the celebrity wife fell pregnant. And, in 2013 she gave birth to their first son. The happy family still resides in Los Angeles, California.
