When Perri Kiely appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 with Diversity, aged just 13, he certainly wowed viewers.

The young man was the star of the show, performing backflips and impressing even usually-stern Simon Cowell.

Diversity ended up winning the show, and since then fans have been wanting to know about Perri Kiely.

So what do we know about the young dancer?

Who Is Perri Kiely?

Perri Kiely found fame as one of the youngest members of the street dance troupe Diversity. They auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent in London in 2009 and blew the judges away.

The 25-year-old was born in Essex and was still in school when Diversity took part in the national talent competition.

He is close with his family, often sharing pictures on days out with his mum, Christine. He also has two sisters, Star and Elvie – Star is also a dancer.

After Britain’s Got Talent, Perri spent a few years touring with the troupe and even doing interviews on American TV. In 2013, he presented backstage segments for Got to Dance, and a year later appeared in the diving competition show Splash.

He also looked for love on Celebs Go Dating and took part in the celebrity version of The Great British Bake Off in 2018.

In 2019, he joined the cast of Dancing On Ice, where he was paired with German pro skater Vanessa Bauer. His dance skills certainly came in handy as he performed thrilling moves on the ice, including a backflip.

The skating pair finished second in the competition, behind Joe Swash and Alex Murphy.

In case you were wondering – and Perri makes sure to correct people – his second name is pronounced Kylie, not Keely.

Does Perri Kiely Have a Girlfriend?

When Perri Kiely took part in Celebs Go Dating in 2017, he revealed that he’d found dating difficult after his Britain’s Got Talent fame.

He said: “People don’t go for people like me. When Diversity won Britain’s Got Talent I was really young, and in people’s heads I’m trapped in that bubble.”

That didn’t stop him from finding romance with Love Island star Amber Davies just a year later. However, the flame fizzled out quickly, and by the time he starred on Dancing On Ice, he was single again.

Little did he know that as well as skating skills, he’d also find love on the show.

It was on Dancing On Ice that he met TV production assistant Laura Smith. The pair hit it off right away and went on a few dates throughout 2019 and 2020.

Perri confirmed their relationship in August 2020, and since then she makes regular appearances on his Instagram feed and vice versa.

What Is He Doing Now?

Perri Kiely currently presents the Kiss FM Breakfast show with his Diversity mate Jordan Banjo. They joined the station in August 2020.

Though it’s only been live a short time, the pair are already making a name for themselves. They recently won a Best New Show award at the Audio & Radio Industry Awards.

Perri also shares snippets of his home life on Instagram. The 25-year-old lives with his two cats and dog Barry in a stylish flat in London.

The house features a chic garden with lounge furniture and exotic plants as well as a huge living room with 1960s-inspired furniture.

Britain’s Got Talent

Diversity wowed the judges from their first audition on Britain’s Got Talent. All three of the judges – Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell, and Piers Morgan – were impressed with the dance troupe, and they sailed through to the semi-final.

Here, they were pitted against singer Natalie Okri, and the judges chose to send the dancers through to the final.
