Via the app, you can scan your digital card at the till to get a scratchcard to potentially win a prize. Not sure when we’ll have time for that when they’re flinging bread at us but we’ll still give it a try!

With the Lidl Plus app, you can get a digital copy of your receipt every time you shop. Perfect if you’re sharing the bill or keeping track of your monthly spends.

There is even a ‘Partner Offers’ section of the app that currently provides deals such as 25% off Sky TV and 40% off cinema tickets.
