On June 16th, 2007, Emma and Joe welcomed baby Harry Swash into the world.
However, in a turn of events just seven months after, Joe left Emma and little baby Harry.

Emma Sophocleous and Joe Swash
It was back in 2005 when Emma and Joe began dating. Their relationship was solid as ever (or so we thought).
Emma literally saved Joe’s life when he fell ill with deadly meningitis by patiently nursing him back to health and the pair seemed more in love than ever after Joe’s recovery.
She found him in bed partially paralyzed one day. He couldn’t even talk so Emma immediately called 999. When he got to intensive care, his family was warned to prepare for the worst.
Thankfully the reality TV star pulled through.
He told The Sun:
“The doctors said they weren’t sure I would pull through. It was so scary. Before, I thought I could do all this mad stuff. But it made me realize life is fragile.”
Then two years later, the pair had their first child together, little baby and son Harry Swash.
Joe and Emma were over the moon!
Speaking about his new family Joe said:
“We’re like a proper little family now. I really want a little girl now. Give it a year and I’m going to be bugging Emma for her.”
Everything seems just fine and dandy, right?
Unfortunately, when baby Harry was only seven-months old, Joe decided his new life as a dad wasn’t for him just yet.

Joe Swash Ditches Emma Sophocleous and Baby Harry
Joe’s playboy lifestyle has always been known to the public, even getting nicknamed ‘The Animal’ because of his sexual appetite.
His reason for ditching them? The EastEnder stay simply said:
“I’m too young to be a dad.”
Which kind of contradicts the time he said:
“I’m older and looking to settle down. I’m so broody and I’d love kids! I think I’ll make a fun dad! I think I want three.”
Understandably, Emma devastated.
Imagine just having a baby and thinking you were going to build a happy family just to have your spouse walk out on you!
Joe didn’t even try to make the situation better, telling OK! Magazine that she was a boring mum!
He also did not leave Emma nor baby Harry any money and even kicked them out of his house.
Devastated Emma finally commented after the breakup:
“He sold the story to OK! Magazine and kept all the money. Now I have to support a seven-month-old baby on my own.”
“To be honest, I’m struggling at the moment. He has left us totally in lurch. I feel so let down. I thought we were going to spend the rest of our lives together.”

How Joe treated Emma was sad. But what’s even more unfortunate is that baby Harry will grow up without a dad.
Seeing Joe’s true colours, Emma continued raising Harry as a single mum.
However according to Joe, he was not going to leave them without any help.
Joe said:
“I’m saddened she has chosen to make so many false statements about me, particularly while resolving the issue of contact with our son.”
“I would like to make it very clear that I will always provide for our son.”
We sure hope so!
Fast forward years later, baby Harry is now 13 years old extremely close with dad Joe.
We know because he can always be seen in Joe’s social media posts and we’re happy they’re getting along!
Harry was also recently captured in a photo of Joe with his 12-month old son, Rex. (We’ll get to this later).

Although Harry’s been making appearances on the media, Emma prefers to keep a low profile.
We don’t know where she is now but we do hope she’s doing great!

As for Joe, he is currently dating the gorgeous TV personality, Stacey Solomon!
Stacey is known for her humorous and blunt personality. She’s also a regular panelist on Loose Women.

The loved-up couple had baby Rex back in 2019.
Joe, Stacey, and Rex are currently living the dream life together with two of Stacey’s sons from previous relationships.
But will he stay this time? He seems like he’s doing a good job so far!
For this year’s Father’s Day, Stacey shared a picture of Joe alongside Harry and baby Rex sitting on his lap.
The photo was captioned:
“Daddy’s Day. Happy Father’s Day to the best make role model our four boys could wish for…”
