Alison Hammond’s only child is her teenage son, Aiden. She married a Cab driver, Noureddine Boufaied and they had Aiden when they were together. Unfortunately, the couple divorced and Aiden is now living with Alison.
Remarkably, Alison Hammond’s son is her top priority at all times. For instance, she had made it clear that she thinks of her son whenever she decides to do anything in her life, especially her career.
In 2018, she said,
“I have a 12-year-old son at school, and he’s at a very impressionable age.
“For his sake, I don’t think it’s fair for me to go on Big Brother, because I’d probably trip myself up now.
“I’m older and wiser now, I was 27 when I went in there and don’t take no flack no more.
“I know he wouldn’t want me to do it. There aren’t any reality shows I’m doing.
“I’m concentrating on This Morning and being a parent. Trying to find that balance is hard, sometimes I don’t get it completely right.
“I have got a 12-year-old son and I do want to be there for him. It’s just trying to get that balance.”
Very Recently, Alison Uploaded A Video Of A Grown-Up Aiden!
Surprisingly, the video came as a reminder that Aiden is growing very fast!
The duo has been spending time together during the lockdown and Alison has made it hilarious as well! She uploaded a TikTok video of both of them dancing together. While Alison was her usual enthusiastic and energetic self dancing away and having the fun of her life, Aiden was disinterested and looked like he was doing it to appease his mom! Just like any other teenager!
The Lockdown Life With Alison Hammond’s Son…
Despite the grim situation due to COVID-19 and the lockdown restrictions, Alison is trying to be positive and is using the time to bond with her son.
Here’s what she said,
“I am being really positive throughout this. What’s lovely about it is that everybody’s doing it, we’re not doing it on our own and I’m just taking comfort in that really, and also the fact that I’m bonding more with my son. We go on bike rides now, we never did that before, so there are some really great things that are coming out of this.”
Just like any other teenager, Alison Hammond’s son needs to be home-schooled right now. Apparently, Alison is finding it hard to keep up!
“I’ll be honest with you, I am the worst teacher, I’ve got the biggest respect for teachers, I mean I’m constantly saying, ‘Come on let’s get on our work, this is our time now’ and he’s like, ‘Alright I’ll be ten minutes’ and I’m like, ‘Alright then’.
“[But] also he’s quite independent now he’s 15, so he’s kind of taking most of the responsibility on himself and I’m kinda glad that he’s not younger because I’d be rubbish, absolutely rubbish.”
Apparently, Alison Hammond’s Son Is Not Bothered About Her Stardom!
She is This Morning’s star and she is well-loved by her audience. Her social media is lively and her followers are obsessed with her shenanigans. But, her son is unfazed by it all.
“He follows me on Instagram, so he’ll come home and say, ‘Oh you’re married to The Rock, is he my step-dad now, mum?’ Kids don’t watch TV, they watch YouTube. No kid of 12 or 13 watches TV so he’s really not bothered. He’s been born into this so this has been his life.”
