Suzie Crabgrass: What Does She Look Like Now?

But now we’ve outgrown Nickelodeon and the stars of the shows sure have to. What are they up to now we hear you cry! In particular, we’re just dying to know how Suzie Crabgrass went on to play Rosita Espinosa in the zombie series The Walking Dead.

Her Early Life
Christian Marie Serratos was born in Pasadena, California and raised in Burbank, California. Her mother is a jewellery designer and public relations and marketing agent and her father is a construction worker.
The actress began ice skating at just three years old. She continued to competitively skate with her coaches talking of her competing in the Olympics. Then, at seven years old she signed with the Ford modelling agency.
Her Break Into Acting As Suzie Crabgrass
Kickin off her acting career, Christian Serratos played Suzie Crabgrass in Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide from 2004-2007. Suzie was Ned’s main crush in the show and they eventually started dating in season three.
She also appeared on the fifth season of The Secret Life of the American Teenager as Raven.
Swapping from teen series to teen films, Christian Serratos played Angela Weber in the hit sensation Twilight. The role even won Serratos the “Young Supporting Actress” Award in the Best Performance in a Feature Film category.
Continuing her career, Christian Serratos is the American actress who plays Rosita Espinosa in the fourth season of The Walking Dead TV series.
Speaking about what the fans bring to the show, she explained:
“I mean, this is a fan-driven franchise, so it’s amazing to see the fans, and they’re always so lovely,” Serratos said. “I’ve been really lucky to be a part of some projects that are really heavily fan-driven, so it’s kind of like, in me, it’s in the muscle, it really feeds my soul.”
What Is She Up To Now?

Serratos is a keen animal rights activist. She has posed for several PETA campaigns and aims to promote a vegan lifestyle.
In 2017, the actress revealed that she was expecting her first child with her longtime boyfriend, New Politics singer David Boyd. She gave birth on May 14, 2017, sharing a photograph of her daughter on Instagram.

In 2015, the actress, of Mexican and Italian descent talked about moving past Hispanic stereotypes. Although, she did declare that she would love to play:
“somebody who is very famously Latina.”
And she may very well have her chance as Netflix has cast her in Selena: The Series playing the titular Tejana music star Selena Quintanilla. The show comes more than 20 years after the legendary singer’s death.
