The ‘Curtis Pritchard Amy Hart Love Island‘ drama will live on for a long time. But who is Amy Hart and what is she up to now?
The blonde beauty went from flying the skies to sunbathing in the villa yet her time there was far from plain sailing. From fruitful flirting to being a half girlfriend to being dumped, Amy had a rollercoaster of a time until she decided to leave on her own terms.
With no Love Island this year due to Coronavirus Covid-19, we’re delving into the question: who is Love Island’s Amy Hart?
Who Is Amy Hart?
Prior to Love Island, Amy had worked as an air hostess and cabin crew manager for British Airways for eight years.
She was, however, no stranger to the spotlight, having taken part in beauty pageants. The blonde beauty was even crowned Miss United Kingdom in the Miss Beautiful International Pageant in 2017.

Before entering the villa Amy spent £20,000 on surgery in a move to boost her confidence.
She divulged how she had always wanted a breast augmentation as she grew up in the era of Katie Price.
As she had gaps in her teeth as a child, Amy got veneers to correct the problem. Amy explained:
“I’ve got 20 veneers, but they need redoing.”
“My mum had bad teeth her whole life so she let me have them. Everything I’ve done in my life — my job, pageants and applying for this — I would never have done if I hadn’t had my teeth done.”

Her Time On Love Island
Amy was actually the only islander who applied for the show to make it to the Love Island villa.
On day one, Amy actually coupled up with Anton however when Curtis entered on day two, he decided to steal her for himself. By day five, Amy decided to stay in a couple with Curtis. The couple seemed to go from strength to strength and they even became half boyfriend and half girlfriend.
But nothing is ever plain sailing and the two weren’t meant to be or at least that is how Curtis felt after he broke it off with her on the show after returning from casa amor. In the days following, fans were worried about Amy’s wellbeing after seeing her visibly distraught state. Amy even left the villa for a week to receive extra support and therapy from the wellbeing team.
Curtis then received advances from Maura Higgins (which sent fans into a frenzy) and Amy soon made the decision to leave the villa on her own terms.
She explained to Curtis:
“Realistically for me, I’m not going to be ready in the next three weeks to meet someone else. Realistically for you, you will not be happy all the time here because you’ll always put me first because you’re such a good person.
“So, I’m leaving today but it’s a positive thing because I’m going to go and start the rest of my life today…”
Her Exit
Leaving the villa, we saw the Love Island star undergo quite the transformation. She revealed her story in OK! Magazine.
With 1.2 million Instagram followers, we see ‘#ad’ and ‘#gifted’ a fair bunch on her timeline.

In March 2020, she explained:
“I’ve been out of Love Island for nine months and it has been hard. I’m still having therapy.
People thought what I said on Love Island when I left was scripted but it wasn’t, that was me being me. And I know now that I have been true to myself and I am still being true to myself.”
What Has She Been Up to Since?
Since, Love Island proved unsuccessful in finding love, Amy tried her hand at Celebs Go Dating and was partnered up with Kurt with whom she seemed to hit it off with straight away.
When asked by the experts about her night, Amy explained:
“Yeah it was really fun, we had dinner, lots of wine. We kissed. I literally leaned across the table.
“He came back to my hotel bar for a drink and ended up staying.”
Most recently, Amy raised £2000 for Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice. She had visited the hospice two weeks after leaving the villa and was inspired to help after attending a fundraising ball for the charity.
During this time in lockdown, she ran the 23-mile round trip between Worthing Pier and Brighton Pier with her mum Sue. They completed the impressive feat in just six hours and four minutes.

Amy said:
“Even when I was younger, when anyone asked what charity I wanted to support, I always said Chestnut Tree House, so I’m really happy that I’m going to get more involved.
“The kids at Chestnut Tree House don’t have a choice to have a day off from having a life-limiting illness.
“It was really hard, but to raise money for such a fantastic cause that’s close to my heart, makes every ache, pain and blister worth it. Thanks so much to everyone who donated.”
