10. Dewey Finn (Jack Black)
Dewey Finn was booted out of his own band, No Vacancy after his band mates grew tired of his constant 20-minute guitar solos and immature antics which prevented them from being booked at larger gigs. Following this failure, Dewey was forced to find himself a regular job and pay back the rent he owed his best friend, but luckily for him, he got a job offer from Horace Green Prep School which he gladly accepted – fraudulently.
Despite his childish behaviour, Dewey formed a strong friendship with the children placed in his care and very nearly led them to victory at Battle Of The Bands!
Anyway, let’s get down the the reason we’re all here: Jack Black’s love life! The seasoned actor first met American artist Tanya Haden, daughter of jazz bassist Charlie Haden when they were students at Crossroads School, but unfortunately they lost touch after graduation.
As luck (or fate) would have it, the pair were reunited 15 years later at a friends birthday party and in January 2006, Black popped the question. After a two month engagement, the happy couple tied the knot and welcomed their first of two sons three months later.
