Greg Shepherd: What Does Billie Faiers’ Husband Actually Do?
After watching (and shedding a few tears) over Greg Shepherd and Billie Faiers’ luxury Maldives wedding, we’re sure we’re not the only ones to question exactly how the newly weds could afford such a lavish affair?
So, whilst we already know plenty about Billie’s career, let’s find out a little more about her husband, Greg…

The Basics…
For work, Greg is currently a ticket scout and a businessman in London. He’s previously worked as a stockbroker, as well as making a few minor appearances on TOWIE when his relationship with Billie was relatively new.
In Billie and her sister Sam’s TV show: The Mummy Diaries, Greg has become a more permanent fixture, appearing regularly on the programme with his wife and kids. However, Greg does like to keep his private life away from the limelight, therefore does not give much away on the series about what he does outside of parenthood.
Greg Does Work For Charity Too…
As well as working in the city, Greg is a brand ambassador for Haven House Children’s Hospice, supporting them on a bunch of projects including taking part in a Sparkle Walk – a 10km sponsored walk set up in order to raise donations for the charity.

Last year the event raised around £21,00 as around 200 people walked 10km in order to raise funds.
Greg and wife Billie also visited the hospice and spent time meeting the children, as well as taking part in a musical therapy session with the hospice’s residents and their little boy Arthur.
Speaking about the charity, Billie said:
“Visiting Haven House was wonderful, we had never been to a children’s hospice before and didn’t know what to expect was nervous before arriving, but what I found was a warm, loving place with emphasis on fun and happiness. Meeting the children, families and staff was a real privilege. Haven House really is a place where families can make memories.
“The staff are incredible. It’s amazing how much actually goes on at the hospice and how far the staff go to make things happen. Greg and I are absolutely thrilled to be supporting the charity’s Sparkle Walk. We really hope the local community can get behind this fantastic event.”

Billie And Greg Are Now Haven House Ambassadors
Since the event, the Hospice announced Billie and Greg and their new ambassadors.
Mile Palfreman, the Chief Executive at Haven House, revealed:
“We are honoured to welcome Billie and Greg as ambassadors. We can’t wait to work with them on some exciting future projects.
“On their recent visit to the hospice they were genuinely interested in what we do. They were interested the families we care for, and that was so lovely to see. They seemed to instantly understand what we’re all about.”
“High profile ambassadors play an enormously important role in raising awareness of how Haven House can help families with life-limited children. Also the level of community support and fundraising needed to achieve this. Their association will add huge value and strength to the message we communicate about the importance of children’s hospices and the vital support we give to local families.”
How Did He Propose To Billie?
After meeting in 2011, Greg proposed three years later in 2014. The businessman got down on one knee in the Maldives, where he’d arranged a very private moment for the pair, so private, in fact, that they had their very own exclusive island.
Making sure that the moment really was one in a million, Greg had the ring designed at Hatton Garden Jewellers, which just happened to have a 5 carat diamond, complimented by two diamonds set in Platinum.

How Many Kids Do They Have?
Greg and Billie have two children together, Nelly Samantha (who was born in 2014) who Billie gave birth to just after Greg proposed and Arthur (2017).
