The 31-year-old reality star's weight shot to 23-and-a-half stone after binge eating during tough times, but the 'TOWIE' star is determined to improve his health.

He told OK! magazine:

'When I'm in a bad place I binge eat, and when I put on weight it triggers more issues. I have been aware of the issue for a long time, but I still struggle with it so I'm speaking with my therapist about changing my relationship with food."

The former The Only Way Is Essex star has struggled with his relationship with food since his teens, and he is desperate to get back to 15 stone.

He admitted:
'I was the biggest I've ever been, which was 23 stone and a half, but I've lost two stone. At my healthiest I've been 15 stone, and I want to be back there'.

Luckily, Arg is back on track with the help of friends, including Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington, to stay healthy and think positive.

He added:
'The best thing I can do is eat healthily, and get down to the gym four times a week.

'Rebecca Adlington has said she's going to take me to the Olympic pool in Stratford.

'I need to make sure I have structure in my life, and keep myself busy doing positive things'.

However, back in August, Arg feared for his life if he didn't lose weight after he ballooned to 24 stone.

He said:
'I've had check-ups. My heart's OK, I have no signs of diabetes and my cholesterol is not too high.

'But I was weighed and I was the biggest I'd ever been - around 24 stone. I could become ill or die'.
