Patsy Kensit has hinted she could head back to ‘Emmerdale’ after admitting her character is probably in South America “plotting her return”.

The 51-year-old star played Sadie King in the ITV soap from 2004 to 2006, and she believes her alter-ego is considering ways to head back to the Yorkshire village.

Patsy said:

“She’s probably somewhere like Peru or Argentina, plotting her return.”

Sadie and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) were plotting to kidnap Tom King (Ken Farrington) when the soap bad boy deceived her, leaving her with nothing but a BMW.

She hasn’t been seen since, but Patsy has already devised a potential comeback plot.

The ‘Holby City’ star said:

“Maybe Sadie is mother to Cain’s child, as we didn’t know if she was pregnant or not when she left. We can all dream.”

However, if Patsy did return to ‘Emmerdale’ it may only be for a short stint at most, because the star has set her sights on a role in ‘EastEnders’ because the set is closer to her home.

She added to Inside Soap magazine:

“I’m always open to great material, and I would love to get into a soap again and play a matriarchal character.

“After filming ‘Holby’ I went straight into ‘Agatha Raisin’ for Sky, and I’ve just finished shooting a movie called ‘The Pebble and the Boy’.

“It just depends on whether I’m available, and whether the soaps want me.

“‘Emmerdale’ is fantastic but my home is in London, not Leeds. ‘EastEnders’ would be great.”
