He made a top hat look ridiculously good, and a voice as smooth as melted chocolate – Willy Wonka was our hero, the famed tour-guide and chocolate extraordinaire who panicked when he found his first grey hair (way ahead of you there, Willy) and proceeded to invite a bunch of children round to his workplace, in perhaps not one of his most sensible moments.
