Veruca Salt (Julia Winter) – Then
Veruca Salt is the greedy and spoiled girl who demanded her parents get her everything she wanted (which, they did) and the whole reason she obtained her golden ticket was because her father had a factory of workers scour through thousands of wonka bars for it!
She ended up getting booted out of the factory after falling down a trash shoot in a bid to take one of Wonka’s squirrels and make it a pet. She refuses to take no for an answer in spite of the fact that she already owned a pony, four cats, two dogs, six rabbits, two parakeets, three canaries…the list goes!
Actress Julia Winter was born in Sweden in 1993 and even dubbed her character’s voiceover for the Swedish version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. She no longer acts and her role as Veruca Salt was her only ever film role to date. She has since been studying to become a nurse.
