NCIS is one of the nation’s best-loved crime series, which is no surprise when you look at the talented cast that has starred in it over the past sixteen years. Every episode brought new seemingly unsolvable crimes, ranging from murder and espionage to terrorism, but of course, nothing is unsolvable for Special Agent Gibbs and his team! Let’s take a look at show’s cast have changed over the past sixteen seasons…

Kate Todd (Sasha Alexander) – THEN

After hearing of her resignation from the Secret Service, Leroy Jethro Gibbs snapped up Special Agent Todd quicker than you could say “Major Case Response Team” and she became paired with her colleague, and later love-interest, Anthony DiNozzo. Kate and Tony definitely had a love-hate relationship but you could see that he was positively heartbroken – along with the rest of the nation- when the character met her end in season two after being shot in the shot by the notorious double-agent Ari.

Sasha’s personal life has been a little less traumatic thankfully, and after leaving the show back in 2005 she continued to make several guest appearances, mostly in the form of flashbacks. Keeping in line with the crime theme, she also became one of the main characters on police detective drama, Rizzoli & Isles, between 2010 and 2016. Most recently she has also appeared in an episode of Law and Order portraying Anna Mill.
