9. Vince (Matt Battaglia) – THEN

Let’s be honest, men in uniform are totally attractive… So we can hardly blame Phoebe for dating a fireman. But she had to make the whole situation totally crazy by dating a kindergarten teacher at the same time. Needless to say, despite Phoebe’s best efforts to keep the two from meeting, they bumped into each other during one of Phoebe’s performances.

It all got a little tense until both of them ended up walking out – the kindergarten teacher because Phoebe had slept with Vince, and Vince because Phoebe had had a candlelit dinner in Central Park. Turns out Vince couldn’t stand the thought that he’d dated someone who could be so negligent.

But despite Vince’s very brief appearance in Friends, Matt Battaglia went on to win an Emmy in 2012 as Executive Producer for Last Shot with Judge Gunn. He’s also appeared in True Detective, as well as various other TV shows, and even made a very brief appearance in Marvel’s Thor.
