6. David the Scientist Guy (Hank Azaria)

This scientist became sweet on Phoebe after witnessing one of her infamous performances at the coffee house, Central Perk. In fact, Phoebe rather intimidated him into confessing that he’d been arguing during her song that she was “the most beautiful woman” he’d ever seen, and “luminous with a kind of delicate grace”. Well, consider me charmed!

David and Phoebe went on to have a brief relationship before David was offered a placement abroad to study. He was determined to stay, but Phoebe ultimately convinced him to pursue his dream.

And ever since, Hank Azaria has been busy portraying other characters – whether it be in movies, TV shows, animation or reality… He’s especially famous for his voice roles in The Simpsons, but he’s also appeared in the The Smurfs, Night at the Museum, and Maniac.
