Before she won the ultimate beauty pageant and became Miss World 2000, Chopra also took part in other competitions.
She’s practised that before
After her return to India after being in the US, she won her local beauty pageant. This led to a pursuit by admirers, which became so extreme that her family had to put bars on their home for protection!

This win encouraged her mother to enter her in the Femina Miss India contest, 2000; and, not surprisingly, she won this competition too.

When Chopra was in London for the Miss World contest, she was also crowned Miss World Continental Queen of Beauty.
