11. The Evil Rhode Island Witch!
If you are familiar with The Conjuring movies, then the name ‘Bathsheba Sherman’ might ring a bell, but you might not have realised that she was a very real and terrifying witch! Bathsheba and her husband became parents five years after tying the knot, but the child died in a mysterious manner soon after.
Many of the residents believed Basheba had sacrificed her son as offering to the devil -but none could prove it. When she was 72 years old, Basheba died – strangely her body had turned as if to stone, seemingly confirming people’s fears that she was in fact a powerful witch!
12. Morgan Le Fay Is A Historical English Witch!
Morgan Le Fay was a witch who lived during the 6th century, at the time was believed (like many witches were) to be evil and vengeful. But according to legend, she assisted her half-brother King Arthur by leading him to the Isle Of Avalon to be healed!
