Nine Soviet mountaineers set out in 1959 on an expedition, but none of them returned. Reports from those who attended the scene shared that the hikers had fled their tent…barefoot!
Their causes of death were never determined and unusually the clothing they were wearing had suddenly became highly radioactive.
39. Our Lady of Zeitoun
This apparition was sighted multiple times between 1968 and 1970. At first, the witnesses believed it to be a woman attempting to commit suicide, but investigators found no evidence of this.
