We’ve all done things in life we regret: plucking our eyebrows until there was nothing left, getting too drunk and calling our exes, ordering clothes from questionable websites in Asia and then wondering why it looked nothing like the picture…we’ve all been there (even you sensible Sally – don’t deny it).
Actors and actresses also have regrets – probably none of the things listed in the previous sentence as they can afford personal assistants and managers to deal with those things, but they do have regrets – I promise!
Like with all things in life, you win some, you lose some. The same principle applies to acting careers. Celebs take on roles; do the best they can with it; reach great heights and ride on its success – only to think: “hang on a minute, what on earth was I thinking?”.
By then it’s too late and all they can do is hope the memory fades…even if the internet holds onto the proof of their role forever…
More like Edward Sullen
Admit it, you were in love with Edward Cullen at the naive age of 14 like everyone else – yet, after seeing R-Patz’s comments on the character, you’ll realise why that was so so wrong…
1. Robert Pattinson – ‘Twilight’
The former Twilight star has his own running meme called ‘nobody hates Twilight more than Robert Pattinson’ and we can see why:
“…in reality, he’d be one of those guys that would be an axe murderer.”
He also makes sarcy comments about just how ridiculous his character is:
“It’s like, wow, he’s a superhuman moron with absolutely no superpowers. So he wears lipstick, has a bouffant, and does little circus acts, as well. Oh, he’s so sexy.“
2. Daniel Craig – ‘James Bond’
The name’s Hater. Bond Hater. When asked if he’d do another film, Daniel first said he’d rather slit his wrists and then said he’d only do it for the money. Dramatic much?!
He’s also very straightforward and dismissive when it comes to being asked who should take over the iconic role from him:
“Look, I don’t give a f*ck.”
3. Kate Winslet – ‘Titanic’
We all think Kate Winslet was fab in Titanic, but she begs to differ:
“Every single scene, I’m like ‘Really, really? You did it like that? Oh my God’…Even my American accent, I can’t listen to it. It’s awful.”
