Following The OC, he is most known for his role as Stefan Salvatore in the hit US TV show The Vampire Diaries, which went on from 2009 to 2017.

He has also acted in films such as The Baytown Outlaws, Before I Disappear and Cloud 9. He is set to play the lead role in the upcoming TV show Tell Me A Story, set to be released next year.

Shailene made her acting debut in the TV show The District. Before her role in The OC, she also starred in a few episodes of shows such as Without a Trace and Crossing Jordan.

Following The OC, Shailene entered Hollywood. She got her big break starring in the TV show The Secret Life of the American Teenager. She was recently in the hit TV show Big Little Lies, starring Reese Witherspoon, and is set to be in season 2 next year. She has also recently acted in films such as Divergent, The Fault in Our Stars and Adrift.
