Holiday in the Sun – Austin Nichols

Paris, Sydney, London – surely Mary-Kate and Ashley were done jet-setting the world? Nope. This time they went to the Bahamas for their hit 2001 film Holiday in the Sun. They hit the beach, met cute boys, oh and solved a huge crime. Sounds like your average holiday.

We could get used to this life…

Imagine being the childhood best friend with a massive crush, but never given the time of the day. Rather than fight for Madison (Ashley Olsen), you agree to help Scott, the guy you hardly know, talk to Madison. Heartbreaking. For Griffen, this was a reality.

Portrayed by Austin Nichols, fans fell in love with his boy next door charm and his amazing caring personality. Holiday in the Sun was one of his first debut acting appearances and what a film to start with!

But just look at her….she’s perfect

Since working with Mary-Kate and Ashley, Austin has gone on to secure some big acting roles. Arguably his most recognisable work is starring as Julian Baker on the hit TV show One Tree Hill, starring alongside the one and only Sophia Bush.

Since his One Tree Hill days ended in 2012, Austin has made appearances in TV shows such as The Walking Dead, Bates Motel and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.S.

Austin’s all grown up…

Austin Nichols has come a long way since playing the boy next door. We like to think he still remembers his days acting with Mary-Kate and Ashley.
