10. CHER
One of these people was Cher, and I think it’s fair to say that would’ve been fairly spectacular. I guess we’ll just have to settle for her bizarre cameo in ‘Mama Mia 2: Here We Go Again’, which was slightly spooky for an entirely different set of reasons.

Why was she so cold to Meryl? How did she even know that Spanish guy? How much did they have to pay her to be in the film for approx three minutes? So many haunting questions.
11. What was this movie missing? That’s right: jazz hands.
Liza Minnelli was also considered for the gig, which could have given the whole thing a musical theatre frisson.

Minelli does have a habit of popping up in unexpected roles, like her turn as Lucille 2 in screwball sitcom ‘Arrested Development’, so perhaps this would’ve been magical. We’ll never know.
12. This is a LOOK
In fact, the possible cast list for the Grand High Witch reads like a who’s who of sassy famous movie icons, including Susan Sarandon, Sigourney Weaver and Jodie Foster- of ‘Rocky Horror’, ‘Alien’ and ‘Bugsy Malone’ fame, respectively.
