After working with him on ‘Forrest Gump’, Zemeckis frequently casts Tom Hanks, so maybe we can expect an appearance from the ‘Castaway’ star in the Hotel Excelsior.

Christopher Lloyd, who worked with Anjelica Huston in ‘The Adams Family’, is also a serial collaborator of the director’s, and so could also be up for a role.
59. It’s shaping up to be a great team
Booked to produce is Guillermo Del Toro, also famed for his dark works including ‘Pan’s Labyrinth’.

Del Toro’s last feature, ‘The Shape of Water’, bagged him Oscars both for Best Picture and Best Director, as well as a slew of other nominations.
60. Still an absolute sass-queen
Despite the stellar line up of off-screen talents, Anjelica Huston is firmly not convinced at the prospect of remake. Calling Roeg’s version the “ultimate” adaptation, she issued some words for the do over crew:
