Something missing from your spooky Spotify playlist?

If you’re having a Halloween party you need the ultimate playlist. It goes without saying you’ve whacked in the obligatory ‘Monster Mash’ and ‘Thriller’, and maybe even branched out with ‘Disturbia’ and some Rocky Horror numbers for when everyone’s drunk and suddenly feels very vocally confident and sexually liberated.

However, the movie does feature a recurring use of creepy Latin hymn ‘Dies Irae’, or ‘Day of Wrath’. This track, arguably fire by Latin hymnal standards, has recently been used on an Audi Q8 advert, so listening to it conjures a disconcerting mix of troubled childhood nightmares and sensible German engineering.
