Last year, Emma Willis made an appearance on the celebrity genealogy series, Who Do You Think You Are?.
Things got DARK
In the episode Emma made a shocking discovery. One of her ancestors tried to kill someone!

The show uncovered Willis’s family history which included the fact her five-times-great great grandfather Richard Fowler tried to kill a blacksmith and his son.
That escalated quickly…
Unsurprisingly, Emma was shocked and hurt by the discovery. Seriously, who wouldn’t be taken aback by that?

Sobbing, the star said:
“That’s horrific. How can you defend doing that to somebody? That was exactly what I didn’t want to find out.”
Some things are better left unknown…
A newspaper article from the time (1797) described how Emma’s relative broke into the home assisted by two accomplices. The perpetrators believed they would find two men making weapons for the United Irishmen –a Catholic group who fought against British rule.
