15. She Didn’t Always Believe In Herself
Although she oozes confidence and sophistication, Emma Willis didn’t always believe in her abilities as a television presenter.
She lacked confidence
As previously mentioned, Emma Willis got her first big break in 2002 when she was hired as an MTV presenter.

However the star later shared in an interview that it was just a ”fluke” that landed her the role.
It definitely wasn’t a fluke
The star severely underestimated herself by saying:
“I looked all right and could string a sentence together,”

“I never believed they were 100% behind me for my ability as a presenter. I lacked self-belief until I started doing Big Brother’s Little Brother.”

Emma finished by saying:
“I knew then it was something I could do for hours. I feel comfortable now and I’m glad it’s taken time. I want this to be my job until I retire, because I don’t know what else I’d do.”
