17. She’s not always been a professional Princess.
Long before her days as the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate actually held (gasp) a normal job, can you believe it?

Just like the rest of us, Kate left University in the hope of landing her dream job, but as we all know a little too well, it’s not as easy as that.

It can take months, even years for people to finally land the job they’ve studied for at University. Even though Kate came from a very upper-middle-class family, they taught her the value of money and working hard for it.
She had her life planned out…
So instead of sponging off mummy and daddy, young Kate got herself a job as an assistant buyer at London retailer Jigsaw.

Wait for it…she even fetched coffees like a real commoner whilst working on photo shoots, before she eventually left in 2007 after she probably realised she was going to become the future Queen of England.
Now she’s a professional Princess…
Oh how the tables have turned now; she’ll be getting waited on hand and foot with round the clock help in all aspects of her life. Any other single princes left for me? No? Alright, I guess I’ll just keep dreaming…
