The prison is another part of the castle that should be avoided entirely – if you don’t want to come across angry ghosts.

Those who have ventured into the prison have reported seeing furniture being moved on its own, hearing disembodied voices and footsteps and some have even experienced being grabbed by unseen hands!
The Chaplains Room…
If you visit the Chaplains room you might see eerie, dark figures blocking the doorway and strange red orbs floating around the room!

Others have noted feeling a presence when no one else is around – more frighteningly seeing indentations on the beds as though someone is sitting down…
Oubliette…
The oubliette is perhaps one of the most frightening rooms in the castle. It is also known as the room with ‘the scary bed’. At night, visitors have reported being awoken by a woman’s violent scream and others have reported an angry spirit tugging on their bed sheets in the middle of the night!
