Even though most young girls dream of being a Princess, being waited on hand and foot and wearing a tiara to every fancy event, Diana actually hated it.

She looked beautiful in everything she wore and was often seen wearing a tiara to royal events.

14. She took her sons on outings not typical for royal children.
Growing up as part of the royal family you would probably expect to spend your summers holidaying in exotic locations surrounded by other outrageously rich people.

But for Diana, the most important thing was to make sure her sons had as normal of a life as possible.

Even though they were followed everywhere they went, she still took them to places like: McDonald’s, Disney World, Thorpe Park and even homeless shelters to teach them the value of life.
